Sioux Falls's Relief Ace Top Pitcher in July Sunday, August 1st, 2032 Sukejuro Yokoyama has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in July and stole away with the M3L Triple A Pitcher of the Month award. The Red Pandas bullpen ace collected 2 saves and 16 strikeouts in 25.2 innings, holding the opposition to a .231 average and posting a 0.70 ERA and a 4-0 record. For the season Yokoyama has made 17 relief appearances, recorded 4 saves, compiled a 6-0 won-lost mark and a 1.60 ERA. In pitching 45 innings, he has totaled 30 strikeouts and 9 walks. |
