Oakland Hurler Wins Rookie Award Thursday, July 1st, 2032 For a young man just making his way into the Menard's Third League, Kevin Nogilny has shown incredible poise and confidence over the past month, netting him the coveted Rookie of the Month Award. In June he fashioned a 4-0 mark and a 1.63 ERA. The Oakland starter struck out 28 in 27.2 innings as he walked 3 and held opposing batters to a .233 average. This year Nogilny has posted a record of 4 wins and 1 loss with a 2.30 ERA. He has appeared in 9 games and struck out 56 in 58.2 innings. |
