Machen Wins Menard's Third League Pitching Crown Monday, November 1st, 2032 The Quebec City Les Bleus have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Michael Machen, this year's Menard's Third League Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Machen compiled a 12-6 record in 26 starts, tallied 156 strikeouts in 162.1 innings and recorded a 2.33 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .193 batting average against him. Maru Pao Pao of the New Jersey Fenix finished second in voting, while Dale Hamilton of the Buckhead Bowties finished third. |
