Echo Park No Match for Buchanan Tuesday, August 17th, 2032 Buckhead Bowties fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as David Buchanan blanked the Echo Park Lakers, 10-0 at Rangers Stadium today. Buchanan stopped them on 2 hits while walking 2 and striking out 8. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Bowties skipper Kerry Hofmeister said. "He was on top of his game in this one." So far this year Buchanan has made 16 starts, tossed 112 innings, struck out 120 batters and walked 45. His record is 9-3 with a 1.85 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .159 batting average.
