After an intense confrontation, both the Fenix Josh Platt and the 1837 BBC Georg von Trapp were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent New Jersey-Houston game. Both players will miss 4 games as a result of their actions.

"Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Josh Platt commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play."

Platt is hitting .260 this year with 13 home runs and 38 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .357, 37 walks and scored 40 times.

To date this year von Trapp has won 0 and lost 0 with a 2.49 ERA, 1 save and 16 strikeouts in 15 relief appearances.
