Philadelphia 1776's Castillo Reaps SL's Rookie Award Monday, November 1st, 2032 Mario Castillo put together some impressive numbers for Philadelphia 1776 to garner enough votes for the United States Silver League Newcomer of the Year Award. The BC center fielder took the honor by hitting .275 in 107 games this season and finishing with 115 hits, 11 home runs, 45 RBIs and 58 runs scored. Kelvin Abbott of the Philadelphia 1776 BC finished second in voting, while Ramón Rodríguez of the Chicago Gold Sox finished third. |
