September's #1 Hurler Announced: Fleming Friday, October 1st, 2032 Last month's cream of the crop on the mound was Stewart Fleming of the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC. He captured the United States Silver League Pitcher of the Month award for his outstanding performance in September. Fleming started 4 games, threw 28 innings, yielded 16 hits and logged a 3-1 record. He put down 16 batters on strikes, walked 10 and compiled a 2.25 ERA. Opposing teams batted .163 against him.
