Mendoza Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Saturday, September 25th, 2032 Thunder Bay's António Mendoza accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Mendoza finished 4-for-5 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored and helped the Northern Lions BC knock off the D.C. Divided 10-5 at Washington Stadium. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Mendoza told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." António Mendoza struck out in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Bill Oulton in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
