New Amsterdam's Martínez Sidelined for Season Saturday, September 18th, 2032 António Martínez has to call it a season. The New Amsterdam Dutchmen third baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Martínez was injured while colliding with a player at a base. His doctors diagnosed it as a broken hand and stated that he would not be able to play for 3 months. Currently Martínez is hitting .254 and has collected 17 home runs, 59 RBIs and scored 59 times, while playing in 102 games. |
