Thundercats, Pruitt Blank Cattlemen Monday, September 13th, 2032 Joe Pruitt was sneaky fast, on the mark and hard to hit today. He led the Richardson City Thundercats to victory 4-0, blanking the Ft. Worth Cattlemen on 3 hits. He had 2 walks and 6 strikeouts. "You know what he's going to throw. You know what to expect. And you still can't hit it," Ft. Worth skipper Scott Thompson told reporters after the shutout loss. "He just had a real deceptive fastball today and he was throwing it for strikes." Pruitt has made 21 starts, tossed 140.1 innings, struck out 101 batters and walked 49. His record is 6-4 with a 2.89 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .250 batting average.
