Mayfield Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Tuesday, August 17th, 2032 Ft. Worth's Rick Mayfield accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Mayfield finished 4-for-5 with 2 runs batted in and 3 runs scored and helped the Cattlemen knock off the D.C. Divided 10-1 at The Cattle Pen. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Mayfield told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." Rick Mayfield flied out in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Randy Gabaldon in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
