Divided, Hottinger Blank Athletic Club KC Thursday, July 29th, 2032 Today was John Hottinger's turn in the rotation for the D.C. Divided and he made the most of it, shutting out the Athletic Club KC on 1 hit. The 24-year-old right-hander led the Divided to an easy 6-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 10 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Athletic Club KC manager Andy Mayfield said. "Hottinger certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds." So far this year Hottinger has made 13 starts, tossed 87 innings, struck out 51 batters and walked 18.
