PA #1 Pitcher in June is Walla Walla's Lowe Thursday, July 1st, 2032 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Chris Lowe, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Walla Walla Walleye closer, 23, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .054 average and walked away with the USPL Single A Pitcher of the Month award for June. Lowe posted a 3-0 mark and a 0.50 ERA in 7 relief appearances. In 18 innings, he had 3 saves, 23 strikeouts, and 7 walks. This season Lowe has notched 4 saves with 38 strikeouts and 12 walks in 27.2 innings while registering a 1.63 ERA and a 4-0 won-lost record. |
