Gwinnett County No Match for Osuch Tuesday, August 19th, 2031 Alfred Osuch kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Chicago Tula were all smiles after winning 6-0 against the Gwinnett County Black Cats at Pipers Ballpark today. The right-handed Osuch gave up no runs in his start, permitted 2 hits and had 10 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Osuch said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." So far this year Osuch has made 18 starts, tossed 120.2 innings, struck out 108 batters and walked 34. His record is 10-3 with a 2.61 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .243 batting average.
