MacDonald Zeroes in On South Beach Monday, August 9th, 2032 Jason MacDonald of the Phoenix Hotspur U-21 was masterful today, pitching a 7-hit shutout, 9-0, against the South Beach Blaze. By going the distance, he was at the same time able to give his bullpen a rest, a fact appreciated by Phoenix manager Howard Martínez. "It's nice to have someone who can do that from time to time," he said. "He had command of every ball and every pitch. Great location, too." MacDonald had 6 strikeouts and 4 walks in the outing.
