Bond Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, August 16th, 2032 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USSL Single A, but last week Gerrie Bond of the Yellowknife Dragonblood reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Bond rocked opposing pitching for a .562 average (9-for-16), 1 home run and 4 RBIs to come away with the award. For the season, Bond is hitting at a .337 clip with 1 home run, 13 RBIs and has scored 12 runs. He has 29 hits, 9 walks and a .408 on-base percentage. |
