SA Honors July's #1 Pitcher Sunday, August 1st, 2032 Over the past month Cristóbal Román has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the USSL Single A. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Kennesaw Jets posted 4-0 mark and a 2.08 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 34.2 innings, permitted 28 hits and fanned 35 batters. This year Román has fanned 107 in 97.2 innings and collected a 10-2 record with a 2.95 ERA. |
