Torch Sharp Named 3A's Best Pitcher Thursday, July 1st, 2032 There's something about a young rookie winning the M3L Single A Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Tim Sharp, a 23-year-old starter for the Mancelona Torch. In June, he topped off the month with a 4-0 mark and 1.45 ERA in 0 starts, tossed 31 innings, fanned 41 and held opposing teams to a .173 average. Up to now Sharp has compiled an ERA of 2.63 with a 6-2 mark over 0 starts. He has 73 strikeouts in 61.2 innings and has held opponents to a .228 batting average. |
