Júlio Rodríguez Out for Season Tuesday, August 24th, 2032 A blow for Júlio Rodríguez today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4-5 months with shoulder inflammation. Rodríguez suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Mt. Vernon Bulls are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Rodríguez's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year Rodríguez has made 16 starts, tossed 110 innings, struck out 125 batters and walked 29. His record is 7-3 with a 2.29 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .183 batting average. |
