Almanzar Selected 3A Player of the Week Monday, August 23rd, 2032 So far in his young career, Angeddy Almanzar has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Single A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Mt. Vernon Bulls right fielder hit at a torrid .429 clip as he collected 9 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Almanzar is batting at a .229 pace this season, picking up 65 hits in 284 at-bats with 9 home runs, 45 RBIs and 36 runs scored. |
