Season Ends for Luis Núñez of Bellevue Thursday, August 19th, 2032 The season is ending on a bad note for Luis Núñez, starting pitcher for the Bellevue Bruins. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Núñez was hurt against the Louisiana Dragoons while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn labrum and will be out for at least 5 months. So far this year Núñez has made 19 starts, tossed 121.1 innings, struck out 71 batters and walked 36. His record is 6-8 with a 4.08 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .255 batting average. |
