Highwood's Byrd Acclaimed Best 3A Hitter Sunday, August 1st, 2032 When Paul Byrd stepped up to the plate in July he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the M3L Single A Batter of the Month award. The young Highwood third baseman posted a .416 batting average with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 12 runs. Byrd also worked pitchers for 9 walks to post a .489 on-base percentage. Byrd is batting .323 with 6 home runs and 27 RBIs this season. |
