Setback For Piranhas and Mike Strickland Monday, September 20th, 2032 The Panama City Piranhas trainer was the bearer of bad news today, as it was learned Mike Strickland's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Piranhas third baseman is being treated for a sore achilles tendon. During a routine exam, Strickland's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another 4 days. This year Strickland is batting .298 with 61 hits and 10 home runs. He has scored 36 times and has batted in 30 runs. |
