United States Premier League Names Rookie of Month Wednesday, September 1st, 2032 Youngster Manny Bendixen emerged as the latest United States Premier League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Toledo deserved the honor, batting .322 with no home runs and 5 runs batted in. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Bendixen enjoy the limelight. This year Bendixen has collected a .375 batting average to date with 24 hits in 64 at-bats, 9 RBIs, no home runs and scored 13 times. He has played in 27 games. |
