Season Ends for Brian Fixel of Atlanta Monday, August 30th, 2032 The season is ending on a bad note for Brian Fixel, reliever for the Atlanta Smoke. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Fixel was hurt against the Panama City Piranhas while throwing a pitch. He suffered a strained hamstring and will be out for at least 5-6 weeks. To date this year Fixel has won 6 and lost 4 with a 2.38 ERA, 14 saves and 78 strikeouts in 55 relief appearances. |
