Friday, August 20th, 2032
After an intense confrontation, both the Piranhas Chris McKinney and the Rainbow Mermaids António Alomar were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Panama City-Northern Virginia game. Both players will miss 7 games as a result of their actions.

"Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Chris McKinney commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play."

McKinney is hitting .302 this year with 13 home runs and 21 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .374, 10 walks and scored 19 times.

In the current season in 11 starts, António Alomar has a record of 4-4 with 60 strikeouts in 62.1 innings and a 4.62 ERA.
