Pérez Injured in Freak Off-Field Accident Friday, August 13th, 2032 Wacky things do happen, and one just did to Phoenix's left fielder Gabriel Pérez. He won't be playing baseball for at least 5-6 months after suffering a broken kneecap, which happened when he collided with a parked car while drunk. Pérez is hitting .228 so far this season with 23 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has 26 hits including 6 home runs, 6 walks and .258 OBP. |
