Brooklyn-Boston Trade: Carmona for Bastedo Thursday, August 5th, 2032 The Brooklyn Dodgers have parted ways with 26-year-old RF Manuel Carmona and $3 in cash in a trade with the Boston Patriots for 23-year-old CF Giobbe Bastedo, 25-year-old minor league RHP Hiro Kurasawa, 23-year-old minor league RHP Harrison Tuff and 20-year-old minor league 3B Carlos Muñóz. Dodgers general manager Erock Genova confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. Carmona is hitting .356 this year with 8 home runs and 40 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .394, 18 walks and scored 52 times. Bastedo is hitting .308 so far this season with 2 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 20 hits including no home runs, 2 walks and .328 OBP. |
