Kashani Helps Northern Virginia Cruise to 10-3 Win
Behind a solid performance from right fielder Zahid Kashani, the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids defeated the Brooklyn Dodgers, 10-3. Kashani went 4-5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Rainbow Mermaids. Ramón Molina was the winner. Over 6.2 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts. Northern Virginia, now 12-7, has played well in the early going.
