Toledo Win United States Baseball Association Championship!
The Toledo Stingers finished the year on a high note by winning the United States Baseball Association crown.

The Stingers claimed the trophy with a 2-0 victory over the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids to take the series 4-3.

The winning manager told reporters after the game, "I think the key to success in the playoffs is to get hot at the right time."

Toledo previously won its 3rd league title to qualify for the overall crown.

During the Premier League regular season, the Stingers posted a record of 56-52 and wound up 4th in the standings.
