Almost There: Toledo On Cusp of R2033 Triumph After 5-1 Win
Game was big. So was Enrique Castro.

The Toledo starter rose to the occasion at Evergreen Park today, earning player of the game honors after leading the Stingers to a crucial 5-1 victory over the Portland Evergreens. Castro threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball as the Stingers won on the road to seize a - lead in the best-of- Round 2033.

Tural Bishara, who is rated as the 5th best prospect by BNN, aided the Toledo cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Castro said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
