Round 2033 Game 1 Victory for Buchanan\n and Buckhead
The Buckhead Bowties moved to within one game of the Round 2034 today, downing the visiting New Orleans Voodoo at 5 Paces Park by a score of 4-2. Bowties right-hander David Buchanan was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 8 innings of 5-hit ball. The win gives the Bowties a - advantage in the best-of- Round 2033.

Buchanan was in the zone all game. He frustrated New Orleans hitters while giving the Bowties 8.2 innings of quality work. Buchanan threw 120 pitches, allowing 5 hits and getting 8 punchouts.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Buchanan said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
