Kingston Township right fielder Ruben Yim was the key at 5 Paces Park today, being named player of the game as he powered the Legion to victory in a critical Game of the Round 2033. The Legion took the 5-4 win over the Buckhead Bowties to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.
Terrence Eler, who won the Outstanding Hitter Award in 2019, chipped in for Kingston Township with a solo home run in the top of the ninth. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Eler told reporters after the game.
