Ledesma, Seawolves Wallop Farmers in Game 3 of R1
The Long Island Seawolves have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Lancaster Farmers, winning 10-5 at Farmers Field today. Seawolves catcher Pablo Ledesma was named player of the game after he went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The win cuts the deficit facing the Seawolves to 2-1 in the best-of-5 SL AA Championship.

Albert Covington made it 5-3 in favor of Long Island when he delivered a 2-run double. It came with one out in the top of the eighth. The Seawolves went on to win.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Covington.

Game 4 is set to be played tomorrow at Farmers Field. The scheduled starters for the game are Jamey Crockett for the Long Island Seawolves and Marnix van Rijn for the the Lancaster Farmers.
