Farmers Win to Extend Series Lead to 2-0
Riding the 3-hit performance of first baseman Marcel Roks, the Lancaster Farmers got a road win against the Long Island Seawolves, 7-4, in Game 2 of the SL AA Championship today. Roks was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs for the Farmers, who now lead the best-of-5 series, 2 games to 0.

Lancaster grabbed control in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Jesús Herrera delivered a 2-run double, to make it 5-3 in favor of the Farmers.

"We'll savor this win," Roks told the Lancaster Daily News, "then get ready for the next game."

The next game is set to be played Friday. The scheduled starters for the game are Mathieu Neri for the Long Island Seawolves and Daron Muldoon for the the Lancaster Farmers.
