Elephants Even With Music After Extra-Innings Win
The Gibtown Elephants and the Memphis Music will take the PL R Championchip to a decisive 5th game. Facing a must-win situation at Mammoths Ballpark today, the Elephants beat the Music 7-2 in extra innings to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Gibtown right-hander Patrick Nicolas was named player of the game in the win after a strong outing in which he threw 8 innings of 3-hit ball.

Nicolas gave Gibtown a solid start. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits over 8.1 innings.

"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Nicolas.

The next game is set to be played Tuesday, September 14th, 2032 at Wrigley Field. Slated to start are Jason Poulter for the Memphis Music and Anbrosio Mera for the the Gibtown Elephants.
