Almost There: Boston On Cusp of R1 Triumph After 6-4 Win
Boston center fielder Giobbe Bastedo was the key at Dunkin Donuts Park today, being named player of the game as he powered the Patriots to victory in a critical Game of the Round 1. The Patriots took the 6-4 win over the Kingston Township Legion to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

Boston grabbed control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 3rd, Jorge Velázquez delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 5-4 in favor of the Patriots.

Bastedo told the Boston Herald: "I was born for the big stage."
