The Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids are one game away from a sweep after a 24-6 win over the visiting Grafton Middies at Atlantica today. Rainbow Mermaids second baseman Melito Báez was named player of the game, as he belted 2 home runs. He scored 4 times and drove in 7. Northern Virginia now holds a - advantage in the best-of- Round 1.

Báez had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the first inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Rainbow Mermaids went on to win.
