Cajuns Come Back Late to Clip Fire

The Cajuns faced a stiff challenge from Franklin pitcher Chu-yong Hong, but persevered to claim a win at Titans Ballpark. The final score was 5-4. Hong went 7.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. Crowley reliever José Antonio López was the winner. His record is now 3-1. Kohei Nishikawa took the loss. Crowley now sits at 42-27, while Franklin falls to 35-34.
The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Crowley trailing 4-3, Lawrence Stokes hit a curveball from Kohei Nishikawa to left for a 2-run home run. Just like that, the Cajuns had a walk-off win.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Franklin manager Chua-kah Liu said following the tough loss.
