Moose Jaw center fielder Michael Hughes had a good game, even if his team did not. The Canucks dropped a 6-5 decision to Newcastle at Newcastle Stadium. Hughes was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Moose Jaw's current losing streak is now 4 games.
