Victory Over Magic Takes Amarillo to 50-28
|
Ánibal Ortíz never let the Magic get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his forkball, to pitch the Warheads to a 5-1 win. The Warheads have an impressive 50-28 record.
Kiyohira Kan chipped in for Amarillo with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
"We've got a great group of guys," Kan said, "and we're having fun right now."
