Winter Haven Sun Sox starter Gao Mar turned in a sterling performance against the Moose Jaw Canucks, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. In 7.1 innings, Mar surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. The save was credited to Sjelle Matena, his 3rd.
