Clippers Knock Off Octopi at Nebraska Aquarium
Despite a great performance by Ogallala shortstop Isagani Gorre, the San Diego Clippers defeated the Octopi by the score of 6-4 at Nebraska Aquarium. Gorre was 4-4 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 times. The save went to Ivan Garayev, his 6th this season. The Clippers now have a mark of 45-47.

Cleveland Mortimer drove in one run for San Diego. In the top of the sixth, with the teams deadlocked, 3-3, Mortimer delivered for the Clippers. His run-scoring sacrifice fly put San Diego on top, 4-3.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Ogallala manager Bernie Drake. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
