Murillo, Rams Too Much for Shockers
|
A 3-RBI performance from right fielder Javier Murillo led the Ladue Rams to a 9-3 win over the Surprise Shockers. Ladue has 3 straight wins, Surprise 3 straight losses.
Mihai Dumitru, who is tied for 9th in the PR in bases on balls with 34, aided the Ladue cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder went 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Dumitru.
