It was a good time at Wrigley Field, where fans came to watch the Fort Knox Centennial and Gibtown Elephants get after it.

The Gibtown Elephants beat the Fort Knox Centennial, 6-2, at Wrigley Field. The win was largely due to the efforts of left fielder Ramón Fernández, who captured player of the game honors. He went 4-5 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 times. Gibtown reliever Francisco Santos picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jorge Pérez was saddled with the loss.

Min-ho Yun aided the Gibtown cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the second. For the game, the shortstop drove in one run.

"Feels good to get the job done," Fernández said after the game.

The Centennial, now 35-35, have lost 4 in a row.
