Fort Knox got a terrific performance from pitcher Jon Wolfe, but it wasn't enough to beat the Memphis Music. Memphis won the Ballpark of Baxter contest, 5-4. Wolfe was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He came in in relief and pitched to 18 batters . The winning streak has now reached 5 games for Memphis.
António Delgado's at-bat in the top of the fifth inning was a big one for Memphis. Coming to bat with no one out, runners on 1st and 3rd and Memphis leading 4-0, the first baseman reached on an error by the 1B, driving in 1 run.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Delgado said after the game.
