Revolvers Cut Down Deer, 6-4
|
The Santa Fe Revolvers picked up a win at Wranglers Ballpark, knocking off the Sheridan Deer, 6-4. On the mound for Santa Fe was right-hander Lorenzo Sánchez, who played a pivotal role in the win. Sánchez, now 2-2, was the winner. In 8.1 innings, he gave up 10 hits, while striking out 12, walking 2, and allowing 4 earned runs. Santa Fe is now 10-10.
Making an impact for Santa Fe was second baseman Harley Colman. He drilled a 2-run single in the top of the fifth. For the game, Colman went 3 for 5 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Colman.
