The Bompton Baby Lakers trumped the Ballard Beavers, 8-3, at Field of the Sunchasers. Bompton right fielder Rich Watkins was named player of the game for his performance. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Júlio Rodríguez got the win, improving to 1-2. He worked 8 innings, giving up 3 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. The Baby Lakers raised their record to 5-7.
