Winter Haven starter Tom Hegedus pitched effectively against the Orlando Magic at Roadrunners Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a 5-4 win. The Magic, now 31-19, have lost 4 in a row.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Winter Haven shortstop Ronaldo Gentil, facing Gerald Orlebar, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Sun Sox the 5-4 win.
