The Richardson City Thundercats got a stellar effort from pitcher Juan Valéncia, helping Richardson City score a 1-0 win over the visiting New Amsterdam Dutchmen. Gustavo Tobías earned the save for Richardson City, his 1st of the year. Richardson City, at 16-18, sits in 8th place in the Silver League.
Felipe Campos, who is tied for 5th in the SL in doubles with 9, chipped in for Richardson City with a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
